Last week engineering consultancy WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff hosted an event to launch their corporate membership with Article 25, a strategic partner of Cameroon Catalyst. The event was a chance for members of Article 25 and Cameroon Catalyst to network with a range of influential people within the engineering industry, including Professor David Balmforth, President of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and Anil Iyer, Chief Operating Officer at Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE).

Claire Gott, Co-founder of Cameroon Catalyst gave a short presentation to all attendees highlighting the success of Cameroon Catalyst’s projects in Bambouti and the subsequent five year development model focusing on water and sanitation across North East Cameroon with the assistance of Article 25 and organisations like Hydrogeologists without Borders UK (HWB-UK).

The event was a positive step for Cameroon Catalyst in ensuring that future projects have the support of some the leading firms and industry experts in the field of civil engineering.
