From the 2nd-6th February, the Cameroon Catalyst (CamCat) team will be taking part in Live below the Line to help raise money for our 2015 project which aims to provide accessible water pumps in three villages in the North Eastern region of Cameroon.

The challenge is for each and everyone of the team to feed themselves on the equivalent of the extreme poverty line (£1 a day) for five days. According to statistics from The World Bank, 39% of the Cameroonian population are living on this equivalent each day, which is staggering. This challenge will give us a small insight into the hardships faced by these people and help further inspire us to pave the way for a better future for many in Cameroon.

We will be documenting our efforts both here on the website and on our social media channels.
