On the 16th April, a team of students completed the Three Peaks Challenge, which saw a team of 7 students climb the tallest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales within 24 hours.
The team travelled to Scotland on the 15th April, and started climbing Ben Nevis at 6 30am the following morning. Over the following 24 hours, the team spent a total of 10 hours driving and 14 hours of climbing mountains, travelling over 600 miles from Scotland to Wales and ascending almost 3000m across the three mountains.
One of the team members, Aidan Morris, said “it was one of the toughest challenges I have ever undertaken. It was great to complete this and raise so much money for Cameroon Catalyst, which will go a long way to help our project this year”.
